External Transport Management & Consultancy
As the holder of an operators licence, you have an obligation to have a competent person overseeing the transport compliance.
These are the tasks on the undertakings once the licence is granted, or in simpler terms, these are a promise you made to the traffic commissioner that you will uphold these and abide by them.
This doesn’t mean you need to employ a costly full time transport manager on upwards of £35k a year and everything that comes with it.
You may not even need a qualified transport manager, depending on your licence type. This is where we can help guarantee you get it right and don’t risk losing your licence, and possibly your business and reputation.
External Transport Management
We offer External Transport Manager services, all of whom are fully qualified transport managers that work with you to ensure your business is operating legally and safely to keep the “promises” you made to the traffic commissioner who granted your licence.
Using an external TM can help reduce costs as well as keeping your fleet running, and allow you more time to focus on your business.
We know some business owners want to be their own nominated transport managers, which is where using an external TM can help bridge the gap until they become qualified.
We can assist with gaining that qualification whilst continuing to act as a consultant and auditor, and once the exams have been passed successfully, we can transition you into your new role as your own TM.

Consultancy
Running a restricted o licence means you do not need to nominate a qualified Transport Manager on your licence, but the Traffic Commissioner still expects you to operate legally and safely and have a competent person overseeing the transport operation.
Our consultants allow you to do just that. They are all fully qualified Transport Managers that will work in exactly the same way, without being nominated on your licence. This means you are getting the maximum benefit for your business, without the huge overhead.
A fee for a consultant on a restricted licence is less than a Transport Manager, and our packages are built around you, to suit your business.
You would have access to all the same policies, paperwork, and experience as someone who requires a Transport Manager, but our visits may be less frequent once we are satisfied that the obligations of the licence are being met.
